Martha Norberg, CPA - Principal In the late 1990's, Martha was engaged by the Washington State Office of Family and Children Ombudsman to investigate DSHS' role in the alleged 'Wenatchee Child Sex Ring' prosecution. In 1999, Martha assisted the Mayor's Citizen Review Panel in its examination of internal investigative procedures within the Seattle Police Department. Since 1999, Martha has been retained by counsel and private clients on numerous civil and criminal matters, including sexual harassment, employee misconduct, discrimination, embezzlement, identify theft, securities and Medicaid fraud and income tax evasion. Fluent in Spanish, Martha has also been retained in matters involving Spanish-speaking employees, witnesses and/or defendants. Martha is a frequent lecturer, offering training to diverse groups and organizations on advanced interviewing techniques. Martha was certified as a public accountant in 1984. She is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Washington Association of Legal Investigators, and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Martha received her undergraduate degree in Foreign Languages from Washington State University and also attended the University of Valencia in Spain where she studied Spanish and culture. Contact Martha »Kris Cappel, JD - Principal Prior to her appointment as an Assistant United States Attorney, Kris was an associate at the San Francisco law firms of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen (now Bingham McCutchen) and Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges (now Thelen, Reid & Priest), concentrating her practice in the areas of employment law, complex commercial litigation and auditor liability. As a member of Seabold Group, Kris has been retained to provide investigative services in a number of diverse matters including due diligence of company officers and investors, pension fraud, corporate fraud and embezzlement, sexual harassment, employee misconduct, wrongful death litigation, missing persons inquiries, clergy sex abuse, estate litigation, and health care and securities fraud. Kris is a member of the Washington, Utah and California State Bars, as well as the Washington Association of Legal Investigators, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. Contact Kris »Susan Coskey, JD, MBA - Principal In 2000, Susan joined RealNetworks, a Seattle-based public digital media company, as its Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the management team, Susan was responsible for all aspects of the company’s Human Resources functions, including recruiting, hiring, compensation, benefits, coaching, training, organizational assessment and development, employee relations, performance management, employee development, day-to-day investigation and resolution of workplace issues and complaints, and coordination of national and international human resources activities. Susan has been providing human resources, management and organizational consulting services since 2003 and joined the Seabold Group in 2004. Her work with clients focuses on organizational effectiveness, facilitation, training and coaching, team building and effectiveness, change management, HR advice and consultation and workplace investigations. Susan works with clients in the government, private and not-for-profit sectors. Susan belongs to numerous Human Resources and Organizational Development organizations, including the SHRM. She is also a member of various State Bars and Bar Associations. Susan received her undergraduate degree in history from Stanford University and attended the law and business schools at the University of California at Los Angeles, where she was a member of the Law Review and received her JD and MBA degrees with Order of the Coif and Beta Gamma Sigma honors.
