Seabold Group’s Martha Norberg Adds Certified Fraud Examiner to Her Credentials

Austin, TX – November 30, 2011 — The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and leading provider of anti-fraud training and education, is pleased to award Martha Norberg the globally preferred Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. Ms Norberg is a former IRS Special Agent, CPA and founder and principal of Seabold Group, a professional investigation consulting firm located in Seattle, Washington.

As part of the CFE certification process, Ms. Norberg met a stringent set of criteria and passed a rigorous exam administered by the ACFE. Ms. Norberg also successfully met the ACFE’s character, experience and education requirements for the CFE credential, and demonstrated knowledge in four areas critical to the fight against fraud: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, Legal Elements of Fraud and Fraud Investigation.

Ms. Norberg has been conducting fraud investigations for over 20 years and has proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection, deterrence and investigations. Ms. Norberg’s training and experience includes the examination and analysis of complex financial data to detect and trace fraudulent transactions; conducting interviews; preparing investigative reports, advising clients as to her findings; and testifying at trial.
